Friedrich A. Hennegriff is one of the few people from Germany who know the world of capital markets from the inside, and still had the courage to leave it. He started with shares at 14. In his early twenties he was a derivatives specialist at a German savings bank (Sparkasse). In 2008 he recognised gold as a safe anchor, in 2012 crypto as the next frontier.
Then he deliberately left classic private banking. Not because he failed, but because he had realised that real asset protection and bank products are rarely the same thing. Today he brings more than 25 years of capital markets expertise to the kind of advice he always wanted to give: independent, direct, without conflicts of interest.

In classic private banking the adviser is not an adviser, he is a salesman. The products he recommends are the products on which his bank earns the highest margin. Friedrich experienced this from the inside. That is why he left.
As an independent fee-based adviser, Friedrich has no conflict of interest. He earns his fee through the conversation, not through commissions, product recommendations or follow-on business. That is the difference between advice and selling.
