The Nevis Multiform Foundation was introduced in 2004 by the Nevis Multiform Foundation Ordinance and is regarded as one of the most innovative offshore structures in the world. Its unique feature: it can change its legal form at any time, from a foundation to a trust, a company or a partnership, without having to be dissolved.
The foundation is a separate legal person that can hold assets in its own name, enter into contracts, and sue and be sued. Foreign court judgments against foundation assets are not recognised by law in Nevis, a unique protection against international creditors.
Advantages of the Nevis foundation

How does the Nevis foundation work?
The foundation is established by a Memorandum of Establishment and run by a Management Board. The founder transfers assets (capital, property, shareholdings, digital assets) to the foundation. The beneficiaries are named in a private document that is not public. The foundation can be converted into another legal form at any time, without tax or legal consequences.
Who is the Nevis foundation for?
The Nevis foundation is ideal for entrepreneurs and investors who seek maximum protection from international creditors, lawsuits and state access, and who need the greatest possible flexibility in structuring their wealth.
